Hello. A little about myself? I don't drink, I don't smoke, and despite giving up those two vices, I've not lost my sense of humour. I'm trying to give up sugar too at the moment. So I'm off the sweets, chocolate, fizzy pop, ice cream, etc. Definitely feel better for it though. I'm partially deaf (born that way) and partially blind (that's getting older for you). I like to be surrounded by people I like; it's just unfortunate that I don't really like people. The people I do like I wouldn't dream of letting them know (as that would spoil my fun when I'm poking fun at them). I'm just as content to be sat at home on my own as I am to be sat drinking tea with friends whilst they drink beer. Nights out or nights in, I can do both. I understand now you don't have to involve alcohol to have a good time. Besides, I'm a ready-made driver for those nights when there's a group going out. That's a bonus. I'm not very good at lying because I've got a terrible memory, so I'll always tell you the truth unless it hurts your feelings, and then I'll be as diplomatic as possible. I'm not shallow (or at least like to think I'm not shallow); it doesn't matter to me what you look like in the grand scheme of things, as I'm living proof that looks fade. I'd much prefer if you have a beautiful soul as that never fades. I can't promise you the world, but I can promise you'll be the only girl in mine if we start dating. I'm fiercely loyal to my friends, and there's no place for drama in my life. If you love drama, you're not for me. No liars, cheats, or two-faced people need apply; you'll only be wasting your time. Own house, own car, work full-time. I have children. Any lass who thinks they should be made priority over the children isn't right for me. That's about it really. Other than the above, I'm the most easy-going, laid-back person you'll meet, just a bit loud as I'm partially deaf (if I can't hear me when I speak, I think others can't hear me). I don't mean to be; it's just part of who I am.
