I do NOT excel about talking about myself, but here goes... I'm originally from Brooklyn, NY (Please don't hold that against me) and have been living in England for 13 years. I grew up in a busy, overpopulated area, so now loving living in the countryside with my 8 Year old son whom I co parent with my (amicably departed) ex, and my 2 cats: Skywalker and Solo. I would say that I am honest, emotionally mature, and enjoy my own company, however, I am best suited in a partnership. I love to laugh, and keep things light, funny, but have a serious and intellectual side that needs to be nurtured as well. Doesn't mean I don't like regressing to a kid and watching anime, or playing video games from time to time, but those things don't define my personality, or dominate my free time. I love to cook at home, and experiment all the time with new and exciting things. I don't hold the mindset of "pink/blue" jobs, I am more than happy to cook, clean, vacuum, and still change the oil in the car. Ideally, the person I bring into my life would be similar; smart, funny, honest, with a great sense of humor and the ability to express their emotions freely and with confidence. I suppose I'm looking for someone to sit on the sofa with, and ignore the gadgets around us, and just enjoy one another without the need for social cues or interactions from the outside...although people watching is great, and if you don't create scenarios including full life stories when doing it, are you actually living? I am a romantic, and I do love to make that special person in my life feel appreciated. Not just on special occasions. Flowers and acts of kindness should be spotaneous because you generally think about the other person, and their meaning to your life, not because you HAVE to remember.
